Caring for Nancy.

"To CarePartners Hospice:
I don’t have words to express my sincere thanks, gratitude, appreciation, and love for the staff at CarePartners Hospice. The care you provided to Nancy and me is beyond measure. The Hospice personnel [who cared for Nancy] are truly angels…I have told of my experience with Hospice to everyone I talk to about Nancy’s last days.
With Sincere Respect and Gratitude,
Robert L. Miller, Sr."
Nancy Miller was a talented artist. Her creations included hand stitched quilts, sculpted dolls, doll clothes and houses, Christmas decorations, wedding dresses, and pottery. Visitors at craft shows in Asheville, NC and Greenville, SC enjoyed her work.
Nancy was also an artist in the kitchen, particularly around the holidays. Friends and family looked forward to her sweet and savory treats including date nut bread, pound cakes, pies, kraut balls, and sausage balls.
A woman of many interests, Nancy also loved hiking, backpacking, fishing, camping, canoeing, flowers, photography, and her Mazda Miata.
Nancy died in June, in her home, surrounded by her family. CarePartners Hospice was there to care for her, as it does for over 1000 patients each year. Nancy’s family generously chose to support the work of CarePartners Hospice & Palliative Care by donating to CarePartners Foundation.
Thank you.
